Maddi Alexander 'Serene' Flower Oil Diffuser (£30.00)
Offering a blend of geranium and lavender, this diffuser aims to leave you feeling tranquil and relaxed - making it the perfect addition to any living space or bedroom. Breathing in the essential oils instantly leaves me wishing I could bathe in this stuff, but instead I have to be patient and let the scent subtly fill the room to help soothe away the day's worries. What's super unique and feminine about this diffuser is the floral arrangement that's popped on top of the bottle; it's attached to a piece of rope that allows the oil to gently saturate the wooden flower, making it a pretty arrangement and practical way of infusing a room with scent. Win, win!
Jean Paul Gaultier 'Scandal' Eau De Parfum (From £40.00)
I have so many associations with JPG scents, being a teenager of the 90's when his first fragrance was at the height of popularity, but I have to admit generally speaking they prevent me going anywhere near the brand as a 'grown up'. However, this super fun and sexy bottle had me intrigued enough to give it a spritz. Designed to bridge the gap between 'day' and 'night' scents (although I'm a firm believer in wearing whatever you fancy whenever you fancy, the industry is still very much focused on creating either or...) this contains notes of honey, blood orange and patchouli alongside the traditional gourmand. It's rich and very girlie, but also offers an undertone of timeless sexiness.
Crabtree & Evelyn 'City Zen' Candle (£42.00)
As I'm in the middle of the most chaotic period of my adult life to date right now, anything that will give me a touch of zen is welcome. I've not really experienced the Crabtree & Evelyn candles before now, prefering to get my hit from their hand creams or body products, but this is delicious: exotic ginger flower mixes with warm cardamom and black pepper, while notes of bright lemon complete the scent and offer up a moment of tranquility.
Jurlique Rose Softening Shower Gel (£19.00)
The delicate scent of rose is undoubtedly one of my faves; it makes me feel all grown up while reminding me of childhood stories (it will always transport me to the moment Turkish Delight was offered up by the White Queen in Narnia.) It's a scent that can easily feel too old-fashioned or too sweet, but Jurlique have managed to capture it in its purest form for a refreshing and comforting bathing experience. Free from soaps, sulphates, parabens, silicones, PEGs, artificial colours and fragrances, this lightweight shower gel may be pricey but it's thoroughly worth it - you'll treasure every pump and make it last as long as possible.
Jo Loves 'Red Truffle 21' Fragrance Paintbrush (£40.00)
It's the format of this fragrance that has caused my heart to flutter: it's a paintbrush that you click and brush on direct to skin, leaving behind a lightweight saturated gel that dries in seconds to leave a long-lasting scent on the surface. If you're not down with rollerballs or carrying around bottles of your favourite perfume in your bag, then this is such a genius idea; it allows precision, easy on-the-go top ups and a way to mix and match too. Although you only get 18ml of scent, this is a great treat for fragrance lovers or beauty enthusiasts that want to be the first to adopt a new trend - I definitely feel like this will be a big movement within fragrance in the next year or two. Of the perfume itself, Red Truffle 21 pairs fresh green fig and bitter citrus to create a confident and contemporary fragrance that transcends generations; I like it a lot.
Jimmy Choo Rose Gold Eau De Parfum (£54.00)
Although the Jimmy Choo fragrances tend to be a bit sweet for me, this rose gold edition of the classic is so pretty to look at that it had me pushing my preconceptions aside. With top notes of candied orange and tiger orchid, a heart of toffee and base notes of sandalwood and Indonesian patchouli, this is a sensual and elegant scent with a sweet (but not sicky so) element running throughout. If you love the other Jimmy Choo scents, you'll adore this; if you prefer your fragrances sweet and youthful, then it's definitely one for you.
Cocolux Australia 'Sweet Pomegranate & Acai' Brass Candle (£36.00)
I'm not even sure where this cute little candle came from, but I'm thankful it turned up on my desk for me to enjoy - both aesthetically and from a fragrance perspective. The rich and fruity notes of pomegranate and acai mix with an undertone of coconut to provide a beautifully elegant and sophsticated scent that will fill your room within moments. It may be small in size, but it's large in impact. Brass is a metal I'm all over right now too, so it ticks those homeware boxes and looks fab popped on a shelf or fireplace.
