Hair Heroes You'll Want To Reach For All Summer Long: Four Of The Best For Hair & Scalp

With the sunshine comes the desire to spend as much time as possible outside and enjoying it, for fear it will disappear as quickly as it manifested and leave us feeling like we've been cheated for yet another year. As soon as it gets a little warmer I'm out there on the balcony, in the park or making any excuse to sit outside in a beer garden; what can I say, apart from the fact the warm rays on my face fill me with glee! During the summer months our scalp is exposed to the heat of the sun more than usual, especially if you have a tendency to wear your hair up and therefore expose your parting or hair line, but we tend to forget about looking after it in favour of the hair that sprouts out. Enriched with coconut oil, this heat protection spray helps to protect hair from styling damage up to 220°C while adding shine and gently strengthening too. Spritz it onto damp hair pre blowdry, dry hair pre styling, or simply when you step out in the sun and know it's going to get hot. Following on from the importance of scalp maintenance, this nifty little product is a great addition to any summer beach bag as it helps to provide SPF protection for both the scalp and hair. Sun exposure can lead this sensitive part of our body to become burned, damaged, dry and irritated if not effectively protected; those pesky little areas around our hair line (often where your parting is or around the front of your scalp where you pull hair off from covering the face) are the bits that we forget and often find red and tender.
